Web series “Untucked” on World of Wonder’s YouTube Channel debuted an exclusive teaser for the upcoming Season 9 of VH1’s “RuPaul’s Drag Race,” featuring a very special guest in singer Lady Gaga. Buzzfeed said that in addition to Gaga’s appearance in the reality series, she will also join the “Untucked” Lounge for the behind-the-scenes web series’ first episode.
RuPaul once said watching “Untucked” is a perfect complement to the “Drag Race” series, as it will show another facet of the participating contestants of the show. RuPaul said, “If you’re a “Drag Race” fan and you don’t watch “Untucked,” you’re only getting part of the story. Untucked is like the Rosetta Stone of “Drag Race.” Not the drag queen Rosetta Stone. The original Rosetta Stone.”
The “Untucked” series will debut on March 25, just after Season 9 premieres on VH1 on Friday, March 24. And as for fans who wish to be a part of the show, they would need to join the #DragRaceGoesGaga contest where they need to post their best Lady Gaga inspired looks on Twitter or Instagram, NewNowNext said. Fans would need to tag their photos with the hashtags #DragRaceGoesGaga + #Sweepstakes.
Fans will get a chance to win a trip to Los Angeles where they can join the show’s season finale taping. Flights and accommodations will be included in the prize. The contest started on March 20th, and will end on March 24, just in time for the season premiere. Winners will be announced on the official RuPaul’s Drag Race Facebook page by a “Drag Race” queen this Friday before the premiere.
