“Dragon Ball Heroes” Episode 5 is going to be a fantasy match-up, with two Gokus and two Vegetas going against the ancient evil Saiyan, Cumber. This episode is being hailed as a fan-service since a match-up such as this one is a rare sight, usually only appearing in speculative forums, Comic Book reported.
Fans of the beloved franchise have long debated who is worthy to take down Cumber since he’s been portrayed as someone who is remarkably powerful. Indeed, even with his restraint, he’s able to take on Goku and Vegeta at the same time, with both the Saiyans finding difficulty in keeping up with the character. As such, “Dragon Ball Heroes” Episode 5 will have Goku Xeno and Goku Vegeta aid their counterparts in an attempt to take down Cumber.
But the team-up will prove to be insufficient as Cumber’s Evil Saiyan state will outclass all four of the heroes. In order to even the battlefield in “Dragon Ball Heroes” Episode 5, Goku Xeno and Vegeta Xeno will fuse into one with the help of the Potara earrings.
This will be the first time that fans will witness such a fusion and will herald a new warrior who will showcase powers that could turn planets into floating debris. It’s still unclear how this clash will end but it will surely feature a lot of rage-filled combat. But “Dragon Ball Heroes” Episode 5 isn’t all Ki and energy bombs as some fans aren’t fond of where the whole franchise is heading.
The whole series has received mixed reviews from avid supporters of the franchise, with some saying that this avenue is detrimental for the overall universe moving forward. The concern is that the whole series isn’t fueled by improving the franchise but by pushing and promoting Bandai’s product. The product in question is the Japanese trading card game “Dragon Ball Heroes.”
This game is what actually inspired the creation of this new anime of the franchise, which puts on screen the what-ifs discussed by fans on threads and forums. As the anime is product-inspired, there are a number of fans who are concerned that the animation quality will take a hit. Indeed, this has already been observed and it’s expected to keep appearing in the future. Whatever the case, the series is already in full swing, with “Dragon Ball Heroes” Episode 5 slated to air on Oct. 28.
