The possibilities in “Dragon Ball Super” chapter 63 are promising after what Merus did to help Goku and the others. Though the angel’s help led to his demise, it could be the one that leads to Moro’s defeat.
‘Dragon Ball Super’ chapter 63 spoilers, predictions: Is Moro’s defeat happening soon?
Moro’s list of techniques and abilities have made him one of the strongest opponents that Goku and Vegeta ever had to face. Things got worse when Moro acquired Copy Ability upon absorbing Seven-Three.
However, thanks to Merus, that is one less thing Goku has to worry about since the angel destroyed all three orbs required for Moro to use that power. It can be recalled that Merus decided that the galaxy is worth saving so he tapped on to his angel powers and used it against Moro. His final attack led to the destruction of the final orb, thereby, incapacitating Moro’s Copy Ability.
While it meant Merus’s existence being eradicated, it also opens a huge opportunity for the Earth fighters to gain advantage starting in “Dragon Ball Super” chapter 63. Additionally, the final panel of chapter 62 shows Goku looking very agitated after losing his newest friend because of Moro.
The vanished angel commented that Goku just needed a trigger for him to perfectly use his Ultra Instinct transformation against the planet-eater. Seeing how enraged Goku could be in “Dragon Ball Super” chapter 63, it would not be surprising if the Earth defenders finally get a much-needed break and attack Moro forcefully.
It is also very likely that Vegeta and Gohan will later help Goku in defeating Moro. But the upcoming fight sequence is unlikely to conclude “Dragon Ball Super” chapter 63. As Goku grieves upon losing Merus, hopefully, the manga chapter will include more flashbacks to moments that Goku and Merus shared while training.
