Goku’s decision not to execute Moro drastically backfired and allowed the planet-eater to achieve his most fearsome form ever. On the bright side, the official preview of “Dragon Ball Super” chapter 66 indicates that Whis knows a way to defeat him.
‘Dragon Ball Super’ chapter 66 spoilers, official preview: Here's how Goku can defeat Moro
Despite having Moro cornered and powerless, Goku decided not to carry out Galactic Patrol’s death sentence and even gave the villain a senzu bean. It allowed him to regain his strength almost instantly, summon his regenerated arm, and place back the crystal on his forehead.
Just like that, Moro was back in action possessing Angel powers. To avoid self-destruction, Moro practically made the Earth his body so he could contain his power and somehow neutralizing Goku because killing him would also mean the end of the Earth. The good news is the official preview of “Dragon Ball Super” chapter 66 reveals there is a way to defeat Moro without destroying the planet.
The official website of the series released drafts of the first pages of “Dragon Ball Super” chapter 66 revealing that Moro can be defeated by destroying the crystal on his forehead. If this sounds familiar, it is because Merus did the same thing before he perished. Whis comes up with this plan and will then tell Goku before he and Beerus leave the Battlefield as they are summoned by the Grand Priest.
Making it happen will not be easy, though. The drafts show Goku commenting that Moro’s body keeps growing and makes the crystal a much smaller target. While the published drafts do not reveal the entire content of “Dragon Ball Super” chapter 66, it ends with a teaser that Vegeta arrives at the scene ready to attack Moro.
Vegeta comes in flying and telling Goku to step away. It is unknown, though, if Vegeta already knows of Whis’ suggested action upon attacking Moro. Landing blows on random parts of Moro’s body presumably causes damage to some parts of the world, so there is still more to know about “Dragon Ball Super” chapter 66.
‘Dragon Ball Super’ chapter 66 release date, where to read
Fortunately, the wait for “Dragon Ball Super” chapter 66 will be over in a few days. It will be released on Friday, Nov. 20 and can be read online for free through Manga Plus and Shonen Jump on Viz Media’s website.
The same blog post where “Dragon Ball Super” chapter 66 drafts were shown also announced that it is going to be the Galactic Patrol Prisoner Arc’s penultimate installment. As also mentioned, the Grand Priest will summon Beerus and Whis likely to ask about Merus. It is then very possible that more stories involving Goku’s new ally await in the series.
