Goku has defeated Moro with his mastered Ultra Instinct form, just as Merus predicted, but the story arc might have to address some things before its ultimate conclusion. For one, “Dragon Ball Super” chapter 67 could show Beerus and Whis meeting the Grand Priest, who possibly has some questions about Merus.
Beerus and Whis meet with the Grand Priest?
In the latest chapter, Beerus was about to step in and help against Moro when they receive a message from the Grand Priest. He and Whis were summoned, and Beerus suspected that the meeting would be about Merus. The Angel sacrificed his life after intervening in the fight against Moro when Goku could not attain the mastered Ultra Instinct yet.
It would not be surprising if the Grand Priest has some questions or would even chastise Beerus and Whis in “Dragon Ball Super” chapter 67. In an earlier chapter, the Grand Priest explained that it was his idea to let Merus explore Universe 7 but he was also surprised that Merus joined that Galactic Patrol as the job would conflict with their sacred law of not getting involved in human affairs.
At the time, the Grand Priest wanted to summon Merus back but Whis asked that he be allowed to handle Merus. Unfortunately, Merus’ sacrifice has led to his demise as he used his Angel powers to destroy the stones that gave Moro power. The possible interaction among the Grand Priest, Whis, and Beerus could be one of the ways “Dragon Ball Super” chapter 67 officially wraps up the current story arc.
‘Dragon Ball Super’ chapter 67 could set up a new story arc
The manga series is confirmed to continue after the Galactic Patrol Prisoner storyline, and future stories were reportedly being finalized back in October. While fans do not know yet how the series will proceed after Moro’s defeat, it would not be surprising if “Dragon Ball Super” chapter 67 will also introduce new stories or even characters to set up the next saga.
‘Dragon Ball Super’ chapter 67 release date, where to read
“Dragon Ball Super” chapter 67 will be released on Sunday, Dec. 20. Fans can read it for free through official channels such as Manga Plus and Viz Media.
