EAAA India Alternatives’ ₹12 billion initial public offering opened Oct. 26 as a promoter-led sale of existing shares, meaning the asset manager itself will receive no proceeds from the listing.

The company’s red herring prospectus says promoter Edelweiss Securities and Investments Private Limited is offering 7,207,207 shares. After offer expenses, the proceeds go to the selling shareholder. Shares are priced between ₹1,585 and ₹1,665, and bidding closes Oct. 28. The minimum bid is nine shares, costing ₹14,985 at the top of the range.

An earlier EconoTimes report outlined the planned sale. The company’s annual report said the listing was intended to broaden its shareholder base and provide access to public capital markets; the current offer, however, does not raise new capital for EAAA.

A BSE notice shows that anchor investors received 2,162,161 shares at ₹1,665 apiece on Oct. 23. The allocation totaled about ₹3.6 billion, calculated from the share count and price in the notice.

The Economic Times reported an unofficial grey-market premium of ₹33 per share, about 2% above the upper end of the price band. The indication is not a confirmed listing price.

EAAA’s annual report gives consolidated total income of ₹9.64 billion for the year ended March 31, 2026, compared with ₹7.87 billion in FY2025. Profit after tax rose to ₹2.65 billion from ₹2.30 billion. The report describes the business as focused on real assets and private credit and lists assets under management of ₹72,706 crore as of March 31.

The prospectus schedule lists Oct. 29 as the expected date for finalizing share allotments and Nov. 2 as the tentative listing date.
