DORAL, Florida, April 11, 2018 -- Earth Science Tech, Inc. (OTC: ETST) (“ETST" or the “Company"), an innovative biotech company focused on the cannabidiol (CBD), nutraceutical and pharmaceutical fields as well as on R&D for certain medical devices, is pleased to announce that Mr. Jad Nammour has joined ETST as the Company’s new Chief of Pharmacy.
Mr. Nammour brings with him more than 20 years of experience as a pharmacist, as well as a specialized certification in the preparation of magisterial formulas. This means Mr. Nammour is trained to develop master formulae, which are the templates for the mass production of non-sterile medicinal products.
Mr. Nammour immediately fills the final important technical gap in the ETST production and development teams. Having a certified pharmacist on staff is required by law in order to obtain a license to distribute controlled substances from the government. Mr. Nammour’s task will be to ensure that use of controlled substances and drugs is managed and handled correctly, in keeping with the regulatory environment. He will also oversee all of the storage and warehousing of any controlled substances by the company.
In addition, Mr. Nammour’s experience in retail pharmacy will allow him to help ETST in the development and marketing of the company’s nutraceutical patents and pharmacological products and medical devices.
“I am very excited to be taking on this new challenge,” Nammour states.. “The range of quality products that ETST is preparing to place on the market, and the extremely interesting new products that they are developing, ensure that this will be a very rewarding experience.”
Dr. Michel Aube, the Company’s CEO & CSO, states, “The addition of Jad Nammour to our team means that the management and development teams are now complete. We have all of the knowledge, experience and proficiency that we need to bring our products to the marketplace and become a licensed distributor of drugs and controlled substances in Canada, as announced earlier this year. The distribution license will allow us to get the specific permit needed to import and export cannabis plants and their derivatives. ETST has strong international development potential as a wholesale distributor of these substances, and a pharmacist of Mr Nammour’s quality was mandatory.”
