CBS News described the Michigan debate featuring Democratic nominee Abdul El-Sayed and Republican Senate nominee Mike Rogers as their final planned matchup; the event would be their second meeting.

The race is for Michigan’s open U.S. Senate seat. Voters will decide it Nov. 3, according to EconoTimes’ earlier coverage of the candidates’ debate plans.

CBS News’ video report also addressed early voting. Michael George covered that topic, while Lauren Gibbons, a senior political reporter at Bridge Michigan, discussed Rogers’ campaign. CBS News had previously reported that Rogers was seeking support from Democratic voters.
