TEL AVIV, Israel, March 04, 2016 -- Elbit Imaging Ltd. (“EI” or the “Company”) (TASE:EMITF) (NASDAQ:EMITF) announced today, further to its announcements dated on September 29, 2015 and October 8, 2015, with respect to the acquisition of loan to control Liberec Plaza in the Czech Republic by Plaza Centers N.V. ("Plaza") (LSE:PLAZ) an indirect subsidiary of the Company, that Plaza, has announced that it has agreed to sell its subsidiary holding, Liberec Plaza, a shopping and entertainment centre in the Czech Republic, for €9.5 million.
In line with the terms of the agreement, the buyer has today deposited 15% of the consideration in escrow.
The due diligence process, final closing and settlement is expected to conclude by the end of March.
