TEL AVIV, Israel, March 24, 2016 -- Elbit Imaging Ltd. ("Company") (TASE:EMITF) (NASDAQ:EMITF) announced today further to its announcement dated March 10, 2016, that its approximately 98% holding subsidiary, Bucuresti Turism S.A. ("BUTU") has reached the effective date for the drawdown of the first tranche of the loan in the total amount of Euro 85 million ("Tranche A") under the Amended and Restated Facility Agreement between BUTU, as borrower, Raiffeisen Bank International A.G and Raiffeisen Bank S.A., leading international European banks, as lenders and the Company as guarantor.
The amount received by the Company, after the refinance of certain outstanding loans under the original facility agreement, is approximately Euro 24.4 million, out of which an amount of Euro 15 million will be used for the prepayment of the loan to Bank Hapoalim B.M, as per the amendment to the loan agreement with Bank Hapoalim B.M, as the Company announced on March 22, 2016.
