Another great story for everyone to enjoy was aired this week and we are talking about the hit TV series 'Elementary', which is now on its fourth season. This week, another mystery was solved again by the master of deduction Sherlock alongside his partner Joan. Here is a recap of episode 16 titled "Hounded".
The episode started with Sherlock visiting his friend M.E., Eugene, to inform him that he’s contaminated evidence in a murder case, getting his own DNA on evidence. That means that Eugene will have to testify at the trial and that there’s a chance the killer could get off, or at least incur a lesser sentence.
Afterwards, the interesting story then kicks in as a man is seen running from a mysterious glowing beast. The man narrowly escapes, jumping off an embankment and down to the road below. As he looks back at what was chasing him though, he’s hit by a truck. It turned out that the dead man was Charles Baskerville.
After being informed, his brother Henry, thinks that this was no accident and that the detectives should look into it since his brother is the first in line with their immense wealth.
Sniffing around the neighborhood, Joan found the witness and asked him about it. The drunk man responded by saying it was a glowing wolf which Joan thinks is a statement of a drunk person and not a sane one. This concluded Sherlock's statement of Charles being chased off.
Henry, on the other hand, was attacked by a similar glowing wolf. Good thing it fell on the pool and malfunctioned. The team then set on checking the robot and found the patent which led to Stapleton Innovations.
They tehn found out about Roger Stapleton, the Baskerville's cousin, and initially thought he was the culprit. But it turned out to be wrong. So the team's tactic was to bait the suspect by announcing that Henry is dead as well and the wealth will be passed on to the next kin.
Sure enough, an employee at Stapleton Innovations comes out to claim her inheritance, proving that she’s the niece of Roger Stapleton. And Bingo! They have found their suspect.
Excited on what's going to happen next? Stay tuned for more updates.
