The running joke among a lot of people that Justin Bieber looks like Ellen DeGeneres has been a low-hanging fruit for years. But a recent encounter between Bieber and a stranger supposedly got the “Cold Water” singer pissed. Even his fiancée, Hailey Baldwin, was insulted when the stranger compared the model to Portia de Rossi, Ellen’s wife.
In Touch magazine (via Gossip Cop) claimed that Justin Bieber was visibly upset after the stranger made the comment. While the singer has a good relationship with Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi, the superstar has always hated being compared to the talk show host. At least, that’s what the magazine is peddling.
However, the publication hasn’t provided any proof on the matter. And given that almost everyone has a smartphone now, no video or photo has been passed around social media that confirms this allegation. So it’s likely that Justin Bieber hasn’t encountered anyone that pissed him off that badly. Besides, the “Love Yourself” singer wouldn’t lose it over him and Hailey Baldwin being compared to the Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi since Bieber and Ellen go back a long way.
Justin Bieber has been a guest on Ellen DeGeneres’ show for more than 20 times now, which started when he was in his early teen years. Bieber first appeared on the Ellen Show in 2009 where he was just starting to become a worldwide pop icon. Portia de Rossi’s wife even gifted him with a car on his 18th birthday.
Besides, if there was an encounter with this supposed stranger then paparazzi would’ve known about it. It’s no secret that Justin Bieber is constantly being followed by photographers whenever he’s out with Hailey Baldwin, and the fact that no photo or video has been released is a telltale sign that this is another false claim by the magazine. Perhaps Bieber doesn’t even mind being compared to Ellen DeGeneres as the host has been a beacon of positive energy all these years, something that the singer is currently experiencing as well.
