KANSAS CITY, Kan., Sept. 20, 2016 -- Epiq (NASDAQ:EPIQ), a leading global provider of integrated technology and services for the legal profession, today announced that Bishu Solomon Girma joined Epiq’s Toronto office as director of eDiscovery solutions for Epiq’s Canadian operations.
In her role as director of eDiscovery solutions, Ms. Solomon Girma oversees both electronically stored information (ESI) processing and eDiscovery document review services for Epiq’s Canada operations. Based in Epiq’s Toronto, Ontario office, which includes a document review center, Ms. Solomon Girma works closely with Epiq’s law firm and corporate clients to create and manage high-quality, cost-efficient and defensible solutions during the discovery phase of litigation and regulatory investigations.

She has led more than 200 contract reviewers and managed the eDiscovery and document review process for dozens of complex litigation reviews and regulatory investigations. Prior to entering the eDiscovery business, Ms. Solomon Girma acted as in-house counsel for a large Canadian corporation and received her legal training at Blake, Cassels & Graydon LLP. She holds a J.D. from the University of Toronto, Faculty of Law, as well as an MBA from the Rotman School of Management.
