Equitable Holdings has identified annualized savings above $100 million through its planned Corebridge merger; separately, it aims to reach run-rate expense savings of at least $500 million by the end of 2028.

The longer-term aim is separate from the more than $100 million savings pool identified. Equitable has a $150 million target for savings during the first year.

Equitable expects to complete the combination at year-end.
