DUBLIN, Calif., Jan. 19, 2016 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- The Bay Area has a new home for classic American design. Ethan Allen has moved its Pleasanton, CA, Design Center to a new location just a few minutes away—in Persimmon Place, an upscale shopping center in neighboring Dublin.
The Design Center is the first Ethan Allen retail location to debut the company’s new interactive design service experience. An open floor plan featuring design stations invites customers to work directly on projects with the company’s design professionals while being in the company of the latest technology, dedicated “design shops,” and inspirational rooms.
The new Design Center opened its doors on January 16, 2016.
The new space showcases a new direction for the 83-year-old brand. "This is an Ethan Allen some people may not recognize," says the company’s Chairman, President and CEO Farooq Kathwari. "The products are relaxed and relevant to today's lifestyles, the technology on the floor is state of the art, and the Design Center itself is located where our customers live and play."
On display throughout the new Design Center are hundreds of all-new designs. Seven design professionals from Pleasanton will staff the new space, and can help as little or as much as a client likes, to facilitate the creative process and take the guesswork out of design. Both in-store and in-home consultations are complimentary, as always.
"Our new Design Center will be an inspiring destination in a great location,” says David Strickel, Managing Director for Ethan Allen’s San Francisco market. “Our team of design professionals is excited to introduce our new shopping concept to our Bay Area clients.”
The new Design Center in Persimmon Place is located at 5170 Dublin Boulevard, Dublin, CA 94568. Hours are Monday through Friday 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.; Saturday 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.; and Sunday 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. For more information about this location, please contact David Strickel at [email protected].
