Ether (ETH) showed divergent readings on Oct. 24: a Binance spot quote rose over four hours, while live data showed a 24-hour decline and a separate tally recorded short liquidations.

The 3:25 p.m. ET (19:25 UTC) Saturday quote for Binance’s ETH/USDT pair was $2,337, a 2.11% rise from its level four hours before. Live market data at 19:30 UTC put Ether at $2,337.35, down 2.43% over 24 hours.

A separate one-hour liquidation count across Binance, Bybit and OKX recorded $1.83 million in short liquidations and none for long positions. The price move and liquidation count cover different periods, and the latter includes only those three exchanges.

An earlier Ether snapshot from Oct. 16 recorded a 2.14% four-hour decline alongside $7.51 million in long liquidations over one hour across the same venues.
