FM plans to provide an estimated $855 million in premium credits to eligible commercial property clients in 2027, with a 10% offset for policies renewing or reaching an anniversary date.

The credit applies to qualifying policies with renewal or anniversary dates from Jan. 1 through Dec. 31, 2027. FM said the benefit is intended to help clients act on guidance for reducing climate-related and operational risks.

The company linked the offer to its mutual ownership structure and cited what it called “extraordinary results and historically low losses.” FM Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Malcolm Roberts said it was the second consecutive year the company had provided an enhanced 10% credit.

“For two years in a row, we've been able to provide an enhanced 10% resilience credit,” Roberts said.

FM began the program in 2022 with a focus on climate-related risks. In 2025, it added operational resilience and raised the offset rate from 5% to 10%. The expanded recommendations included areas such as human factors, fire protection, and boiler and machinery risks.

The 2027 estimate is about $30 million higher than the approximately $825 million FM announced in November 2025 for eligible policies renewing in 2026.
