FXStreet reported Monday that the U.S. Dollar Index was below 102 after an intraday pullback found buying near 101.55–101.60, ahead of the Federal Reserve’s policy decision Wednesday.
In its 4:27 a.m. ET (08:27 UTC) Oct. 26 update, FXStreet said the index posted modest gains during the session. The outlet described Friday’s recovery as coming after the gauge had neared its lowest level in almost three weeks.
Vantage separately reported a reading of 101.481 at 9:41 p.m. ET Sunday (01:41 UTC Monday), nearly seven hours before FXStreet’s update. The figures are snapshots from different times.
