VIENNA, Va., Oct. 05, 2016 -- Favor TechConsulting, LLC (FTC) — a leading provider of IT solutions to the federal government — received ten task order awards on the Department of Veterans Affairs’ (VA) multiple award Transformation Twenty-One Total Technology Next Generation (T4NG) indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity (IDIQ). FTC’s task order awards in the first fiscal year of the newly awarded vehicle exceeded $112M in total contract value. The ten awards included a wide range of services such as program management, agile software development, acquisition support, logistics management, configuration and risk management, performance testing, assistive technology training and support, and requirements management.
From the first SDVOSB Set-Aside award on T4NG (Section 508 Accessibility, Tools and Training Support) to FTC’s final award of FY16 on Community Care System Enhancements, FTC will be strategic partner to VA for years to come supporting high priority initiatives such as the Enterprise Program Management Office (ePMO) to Community Care (CC).
On Benefit Delivery Program Management and Technical Support, FTC partnered with the long-standing incumbent on the Veterans Benefit Management System (VBMS) PMO to assume responsibility for one of the longest running and most successful PMO efforts in VA. For Pre-Need Technical Support, FTC will support Pre-Need Burial Planning providing enhancements to a web-based form to submit information for determining eligibility for burial services. FTC will provide project management, requirements elaboration, VIP-compliant agile software development, testing, and release support for the Office of Information and Technology (OI&T) Digital Service (DS).
Another notable award includes Veteran Benefits Administration (VBA) Full Service Shipping, a $42.2M task order award to identify and retrieve physical Veteran records from geographically dispersed Regional Offices to be converted into electronic files. As part of the program, FTC will develop a single-sign on, source material tracking system accessible by VA users, to maintain a chain of custody for all source materials provided by VA.
“Favor TechConsulting is proud to serve the Department of Veterans Affairs. We understand that our work has just begun and our commitment to competent delivery and execution that exceeds the government expectations will not waver” – Mark Rahnama, Vice President of Growth.
