“Final Fantasy 8: Remaster” is but a few months away and people who have played the original game are eager to get their hands on the new upcoming version. There’s a lot to be excited about the title despite it being only a remaster and not a complete remake similar to what’s been done with “Final Fantasy VII.”
Nostalgia appears to be the main driver for the anticipation surrounding “Final Fantasy 8: Remaster,” especially since fans of the entry is the most ardent lot of the franchise. It’s for this reason – and several others – that Square Enix is making sure to deliver a gleaming product by the end of the year.
“Final Fantasy 8: Remaster” celebrated its 20th anniversary on February and the developers wanted to give the game the makeover it deserves. So is this title worth picking up for fans not familiar with the original version?
Final Fantasy 8: Remaster and Omega Weapon
That depends on which genre you’re leaning on. Obviously, if you’re someone who has a penchant for shooting games, “Final Fantasy 8: Remaster” isn’t for you. But if you’re a huge fan of RPG games, then it’s worth taking the remaster for a spin.
This is especially true since the Junction System of “Final Fantasy 8: Remaster” is one of the most complicated and fun battle mechanics out there. Paying attention to this aspect is incredibly important, which is doubly true if you’re aiming to kill the secret optional boss of the game. Those who have toiled in 1999 know all too well the struggle of killing Omega Weapon, a boss who has over a million health points.
Final Fantasy 8: Remaster is coming out at the end of the year
To unlock him, players will need to place their chosen roster on the switch point at the fountain and use the other team to activate the timer. A bell, for this instance. The battle team will need to sniff out Omega Weapon within the chapel before time runs out. With regards to the release date of “Final Fantasy 8: Remaster,” Square Enix hasn’t announced anything yet on this front. However, TechRadar reports that it may come out at the tail end of 2019, perhaps in November or December.
