The fight to save Nataku from a newly risen Infernal continues in “Fire Force” season 2, episode 17. It is also likely for the anime to cover the moment when Shinra connects with Nataku through Adolla Link and learns about his life before he was taken by the Haijima Industries.
‘Fire Force’ season 2 episode 17 spoilers, predictions, preview
It has been nothing but a stressful environment for Nataku since he activated his Adolla Burst as three different groups want to get a hold of him including the Evangelist’s White Clad, Kurono for the Haijima Industries, and the Fire Force Company 8. In the latest episode, fans saw Ritsu creating a giant Infernal that later swallowed Nataku into its body. Then, Haumea forced Nataku to release dopamine and beta-endorphins that triggered his Infected Imagination causing him to shoot beams of energy with high levels of radioactivity.
That means, aside from saving Nataku, everyone now has to do something and calm him down before he can cause more serious damages to the city. The young pyrokinetic will, however, grow more frantic in “Fire Force” season 2 episode 17. Shinra will try to calm him down but the pressure will appear to add to Nataku’s stress. In the manga, this is the point where Shinra connects with him through Adolla Link leading to flashbacks that explained Nataku’s personality.
The “Fire Force” season 2 episode 17 preview hints that part of Nataku’s past will be revealed in the anime including moments with his mother. In the manga, it was shown that Nataku has become scared of disappointing his mother after she imposed her high expectations on him when he was younger. At one point, his mother insisted that if anyone can become a doctor, it would be him. And when scored low on a test, his mother became sad and disappointed, which also devastated him. This made Nataku the “yes, I can” child even when Haijima was conducting unethical experiments on him.
‘Fire Force’ season 2 episode 17 release date, where to watch
It is also worth noting that the Haijima Industries story arc is close to its conclusion. Anime-only fans will not be able to guess how this will end, especially for Nataku and Kurono. For now, fans can expect more action-packed scenes in “Fire Force” season 2 episode 17 as they try to calm down Nataku and defeat the giant Infernal.
“Fire Force” season 2 episode 17 will be released on Saturday, Oct. 24. New episodes are added weekly on Crunchyroll, Funimation, and Netflix.
