Once the anime series returns with “Food Wars” season 4, Soma and Erina are facing the biggest challenge they ever had. The second half of the third season was riddled with bad events, thanks to the arrival of Azami Nakiri.
On the bright side, Azami’s presence forced Erina to work with Soma and the rest of the Polar Star Dormitory residents. The first parts of “Food Wars” season 4 will certainly focus on Soma and Erina’s efforts to save Totsuki from Azami’s diabolical plans.
‘Food Wars’ season 4 plot: Soma and Erina will reclaim Totsuki Culinary Academy
To recap, Azami covertly manipulated the current Elite Ten Council into removing Totsuki’s former director, Senzaemon, and installing himself as the new head of the prestigious school. But his plans go against what Totsuki’s principles have been. Additionally, he was an evil and manipulative father to Erina that ultimately made her distant and cold towards other people. Luckily, there is still hope in “Food Wars” season 4.
Soma and Erina lead the Rebels team who are composed of other talented chefs who will be facing the Azami-controlled Elite Ten. Defeating the latter is the only way to remove Azami’s presence from Totsuki for good, so there are many things at stake in “Food Wars” season 4.
‘Food Wars’ season 4 release date, spoilers: Soma and Erina defeat Central
The main plot of “Food Wars” season 4’s first episodes is the ongoing Regiment de Cuisine between the Rebels and the Central. The season 3 finale sealed the Rebels dominating win in the 1st bout. But this series of cooking duels have four more events to decide who wins ultimately.
In the end, fans can expect Soma and Erina to work together for the first time. After three seasons of having a friendly competition, Soma and Erina finally share the same cooking tables to save Totsuki. Anime-only fans should not worry too much because great things await for the protagonists in “Food Wars” season 4, especially when this Regiment de Cuisine is over.
“Food Wars” season 4 is confirmed to premiere in October. However, producers have yet to announce the specific release date.
