Fortive raised its 2026 adjusted diluted earnings-per-share outlook after third-quarter revenue from continuing operations rose 7.8% to $1.108 billion, marking its fifth consecutive quarter of double-digit adjusted EPS growth.

The revenue figure covers the three months ended Oct. 2. Core revenue grew 7.2%, Fortive said in its Oct. 28 results announcement.

Net earnings from continuing operations were $172.5 million, compared with $117 million a year earlier. Diluted earnings per share rose to 57 cents from 35 cents. On an adjusted basis, diluted earnings per share reached 77 cents, up from 68 cents.

The revised full-year range is $3.10 to $3.14 per share. Fortive said its midpoint is about 15% above the prior-year level. The company cited strong year-to-date performance and confidence in its business trajectory as reasons for raising the outlook.

Adjusted EBITDA reached $339 million, a 9.5% year-over-year increase. Fortive also directed about $300 million to share repurchases, buying roughly five million shares. The repurchased shares equaled about 2% of diluted shares outstanding.

Fortive filed a Form 8-K with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission on Oct. 28. The filing index classifies the results under Item 2.02 and financial statements and exhibits under Item 9.01; it lists the earnings release as an exhibit.

Fortive scheduled its third-quarter earnings call for noon ET on Oct. 28.
