CLEARWATER, Fla., July 20, 2017 -- The Foundation for a Drug-Free World (FDFW) Florida in celebration of its two year anniversary of the opening of its headquarters in downtown Clearwater, invites all to tour the office in downtown Clearwater and find out The Truth About Drugs. The FDFW office contains information displays and audio-visual exhibits with experts speaking on the topic of drugs and providing solutions.
Ms. Julieta Santagostino, the President of the FDFW Florida organization said, “The most effective weapon in the fight against drug abuse is education and that is why we work so hard to educate as many youth and adults as we can reach using the very effective Truth about Drugs materials.” Ms. Santagostino also pointed to a quote by Scientology Founder L. Ron Hubbard, whose extensive research into drugs gave way to the Foundation for a Drug-Free World program and initiative: “Research has demonstrated that the single most destructive element present in our current culture is drugs.”
According to FDFW Florida, almost 1,000,000 Truth About Drugs booklets, DVDs and Educators’ kits have been distributed to teachers, students, counselors and others across Florida since the downtown Clearwater opening in July 2015.

Foundation for a Drug Free World
The Foundation for a Drug Free World’s international Truth About Drugs program has reached 260 million people worldwide. The program is committed to eradicating drug abuse and providing meaningful drug education to young people. At the forefront of the Drug-Free World program are The Truth About Drugs booklets translated into 17 languages with 14 in all. Inside are fact-based descriptions of mental and physical manifestations of each commonly abused drug reinforced by firsthand accounts from former users.
