SCOTTS VALLEY, Calif., May 01, 2017 -- Fox Factory Holding Corp. (NASDAQ:FOXF) (the “Company”), today announced that it is filing a preliminary report with the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) regarding a voluntary recall for FOX’s Harley-Davidson specific aftermarket motorcycle shock absorber products, purchased after September 2014, due to a potential failure hazard. It is believed that affected recall product units are limited in quantity to about 2,460 shock absorbers. More detailed information will be forthcoming as available.
Consumers should immediately stop using Harley-Davidson model FOX shock absorbers, purchased after September 2014, and await further instruction. Retailers, distributors, and customers should hold this product and stop sales, use and distribution until further instructed. It is illegal to resell or attempt to resell a recalled product.
Consumers, retailers or service professionals who have questions should call FOX Customer Service at 800-369-7469. Additional information will be posted online at www.ridefox.com as it becomes available.
