Hon Hai Technology Group (Foxconn) presented two SUVs and a compact electric truck in Taipei on Friday, saying the additions bring its reference-vehicle catalog to 12 as it promotes contract design and manufacturing services to automakers.
The vehicles debuted at Hon Hai Tech Day 2026, where the company presented them as reference EVs that clients could adapt for their own products. Foxconn said it sees potential in markets it considers underserved and is offering flexible designs with cost-competitive options. It framed the launch as a demonstration of its contract design and manufacturing service for automotive customers.
Foxconn presents the MODEL A+ as a premium SUV aimed at affluent buyers. The company says automotive clients could use it to add choices in the B-segment SUV market, which it describes as the fastest-growing category, though it provided no growth figures. The release also lists in-wheel motor technology and selectable EEA, without associated performance data.
The MODEL K+ is aimed at younger customers seeking a more affordable SUV, Foxconn said, with styling cues from Japan’s city pop era of the 1970s and 1980s. The company says clients can customize its exterior, interior, driving range and EEA, but it did not provide a price or range figure.
Foxconn describes the MODEL K as a compact truck for the kei class. The company said it could serve commercial uses such as last-mile delivery and mobility services. It links projected ownership-cost savings to lower energy and maintenance needs, but gave no estimates.
Jun Seki, Foxconn’s chief strategy officer for EV, said the models are intended to help customers advance “time-to-market, time-to-cost and time-to-technology.”
Foxconn did not announce production schedules, prices, driving ranges or customer commitments for the three vehicles. The official HHTD26 schedule lists a public session for Oct. 31 at Taipei Nangang Exhibition Center Hall 1.
