Cajun Broadband has added FreeCast as a distribution partner in Louisiana, creating a route for the internet provider to offer customers a branded media marketplace, including in rural service areas.

The SmartGuide interface lets customers browse eligible titles, with availability depending on the supported services and devices. For some selections, users may be sent to the original content provider’s service to watch the programming.

Advertising, subscriptions and digital transactions are possible revenue streams associated with the partnership. No rollout date, customer target, contract value, revenue share, revenue forecast or customer activation total was disclosed.

FreeCast reported $710,882 in revenue and a net loss of $13,044,799 for the fiscal year ended June 30, 2026. Those figures cover the company as a whole and do not show revenue from the Cajun Broadband arrangement.
