It is going to be Valentine’s Day in “Fruits Basket (2019)” episode 10. Tohru’s ways to celebrate the occasion will be either seen as foolish or extremely sweet.
There barely any detail or teaser revealed for “Fruits Basket (2019)” episode 10. But judging from the events in episode 9, the next installment will most likely cover the events of Valentine’s Day at the high school where Tohru, Yuki, and Kyo go.
Fans will have a glimpse of the typical tradition among teens during on Valentine’s Day. Many female students take this as an opportunity to show someone they care by giving them chocolates. And in true Tohru fashion, she decides to make chocolate gifts for everyone in “Fruits Basket (2019)” episode 10.
The current series is a reboot of the original 2001 anime series. Though fans can expect some tweaks in the plot, the basic storyline has so far been maintained. So there is a big chance that “Fruits Basket (2019)” episode 10 will feature a one-month time jump. By the second half of the episode, Momiji will show up to celebrate White Day, March 14th by inviting Tohru to go to a hot spring.
Shigure, Kyo, Yuki, and Momiji will find out in “Fruits Basket (2019)” episode 10 that Tohru has not been able to pay her school field trip dues. It will make them wonder why she was unable to do so despite having a part-time job over the last month.
At this point in “Fruits Basket (2019)” episode 10, they are going to realize that Tohru used up all her money to give them Valentine’s Day gifts. Tohru’s ways of celebrating are initially deemed “foolish” until Momiji shares them the tale of “The Most Foolish Traveler in the World.”
Kyo appreciates Tohru even more. So even if he loathes going to the hot spring mostly because Yuki will be there, he will set that feeling aside to make it up to Tohru. “Fruits Basket (2019)” episode 10 will air on Saturday, June 8.
