“Fuller House” season 4 has been rumored to be the last installment for the series and this report emerged earlier this week. It was said that the family-themed comedy-drama is ending after the fourth installment, but the reason for the supposed cancellation was not stated.
TVLine reported that Netflix is mulling the possibility of the show being axed from its program lineup. Then again, the publication clarified that when it contacted the streaming site, its spokesperson told them that there was no decision yet about the future of the show and that the platform was looking forward to the season 4’s premiere for now.
Is “Fuller House” season 4 really saying goodbye after the final episode of the upcoming installment airs? Lead cast member Candace Cameron-Bure said this is not true and called the reports plain rumors.
“I don't know why or how that rumor got started," Candace told E! News. "I think it was a slow news day and someone wanted to make more of it than it is."
The actress also noted that shows usually get a cancellation or renewal notice when a season has been released already. She pointed out that “Fuller House” season 4 does not even have a specific premiere date yet.
In the end, the star, who play DJ Tanner in the series, confidently said that their show will definitely be renewed. "I have no doubt that we're going to be back for season 5," she said.
As mentioned, “Fuller House” season 4 has no release date yet but Candace Cameron Bure previously shared that since filming is already complete, their show might get a December air date.
“Fuller House” season 4 will be about Kimmy Gibbler and her pregnancy as Stephanie Tanner’s surrogate. She will remarry Fernando and things will be complicated because her mother-in-law is not aware that the child she is carrying is not hers and Fernando’s. Elsewhere, DJ will break her engagement with Matt and rekindle her relationship with her first love, Steve.
