Fundamentals to watch out for this week

In terms of volatility risks, this week is light with the focus on U.S. economic data and rate decision by ECB,

What to watch for over the coming days:

Central Banks:

  • Reserve Bank of Australia (RBA) will release the financial stability report on Tuesday, which would follow Governor Orr’s speech.
  • Reserve Bank of India (RBI) to announce monetary policy on Wednesday.
  • European Central Bank (ECB) will announce the rate decision on Thursday.

Economic data:

  • PMI reports from across the world will be released throughout the week, mostly on Monday and Wednesday.
  • U.S. ISM manufacturing PM will be released on Monday, non-manufacturing PMI report on Wednesday, ADP employment report on Thursday, and NFP report on Friday.

Geopolitics:

  • U.S. President Donald Trump will begin his UK visit on 3rd June and will be visiting France on June 6th.
  • Chinese Vice-President Wang Qishan to visit Germany.
  • UK Prime Minister Theresa May would quit her post on June 7th.
