AUD/USD chart - Trading View
AUD/USD retraced losses in early trade on Tuesday and closed nearly 1% higher at 0.7771.
The major retraced from session lows at 0.7686 amid flattening Treasury yields and weaker U.S. dollar.
AUD/USD was trading marginally weaker on the day at 0.7764 at around 04:25 GMT, consolidating previous session's gains.
Technicals on the weekly charts are strongly bullish, but are flashing mixed signals on the daily charts.
As the pair struggles for direction, markets will closely track changing yield values, a key marker for a possible upside.
Resumption of upside will see test of 88.6% Fib at 0.7836. 21-EMA is major support at 0.7652, break below could change near-term dynamics.
