All the major Asian indices were trading on a lower note on Monday. Gold was trading around $1,684 mark while silver was trading around $15.26 mark.

Japan’s Nikkei was trading 1.23 pct lower at 19,137.00 points.

South Korea’s kospi was trading 1.04 pct lower at 1,841.27 points.

Taiwan’s stock was trading around 0.42 pct lower at 10,114.70 points.

India’s NSE was trading 1.77 pct lower at 8,957.66 points and BSE Sensex was trading 1.82 pct lower at 30,603.81 points.

New Zealand, Australia, Hong Kong, Europe and U.K. banks will be closed in observance of Easter Monday.
