FxWirePro: Asian markets mixed, gold hovers around $1,420 mark

All the major Asian indices were trading on a mixed note on Wednesday. Gold was trading around $1,420 mark while silver was trading around $16.42 mark.

Japan’s Nikkei was trading 0.37 pct higher at 21,701.55 points.

Australia’s S&P/ASX200 was trading 0.60 pct higher at 6,765.55 points.

Hong Kong's hang seng index was trading 0.92 percent higher at 28,727.48 points.

South Korea’s Kospi was trading 0.33 percent lower at 2,094.44 points.

Taiwan stock was trading 0.09 percent lower at 10,937.44 points.

India’s NSE was trading 0.67 pct lower at 11,261.55 points and BSE Sensex was trading 0.46 pct lower at 37,811.55 points.
