FxWirePro: Asian markets start a new week on positive note, gold flat at $1,298 mark

All the major Asian indices were trading on a positive note on Monday. Gold was trading around $1,298 mark while silver was trading around $15.25 mark.

Tokyo's Nikkei was trading 0.57 pct higher at 21,572.85 points.

Australia’s S&P/ASX 200 was trading 0.25 pct higher at 6,190.41 points.

Shanghai composite index to open up 0.2 pct at 3,027.80 points and China's CSI300 index to open up 0.2 pct at 3,753.64 points.

Taiwanese stock was trading around 0.46 percent higher at 10,487.55 points.

Hong Kong’s Hang seng was trading 0.84 pct higher at 29,296.25 points.

South Korea’s Kospi was trading 0.02 percent lower at 2,175.48 points.

India’s NSE Nifty was trading around 0.19 percent higher at 11,448.58 points while BSE Sensex was trading 0.18 points higher at 38,091.87 points.
