Nikkei declined slightly after hitting a 14-month high on account of profit booking and Trump's impeachment. President Trump will be 3rd President in US history to be impeached for abuse of power and obstruction in Congress. US futures are mildly lower with Dow Jones at 28261 (-0.07%) and S&P500 3198 (-0.04%).
Shanghai continues to trade higher and holding above the 3000 levels. Any break beyond 3050 confirms further bullishness.
USDJPY is trading higher and major bullish continuation only above 109.75 level. It is currently trading around 109.57.
On the flip side, near-term support is around 23690 (10- day MA) and any indicative break beneath will take the index till 23450/23000.
The 24200 will be acting as resistance, convincing crack over targets 24500/24750.
It is good to buy on dips around 23680-700 with SL around 23450 for the TP of 24280/24400.
