Data released so far:

  • Australia: National Australia Bank’s business condition index down to 15 from 21. Business confidence index down to 6 from 11. Investment lending for homes down -0.9 percent in April. Home loans down 1.4 percent.
     
  • Korean Peninsula: President Trump is having the much-awaited meeting with Kim Jong-un. 

Upcoming:

  • Japan: Tertiary industry report will be released at 4:30 GMT.
     
  • France: non-farm payrolls report will be released at 5:30 GMT for the first quarter.
     
  • United Kingdom: Unemployment report will be released at 8:30 GMT.
     
  • Germany: Zew survey report will be released at 9:00 GMT.
     
  • Eurozone: Zew survey report will be released at 9:00 GMT.
     
  • United States: NFIB business optimism report will be released at 10:00 GMT. CPI inflation report will be released at 12:30 GMT. The monthly budget statement will be released at 18:00 GMT.
     
  • Auction: the U.S. will auction 1-month bills at 15:30 GMT and 30-year note at 17:00 GMT.
