- New Zealand: ANZ commodity price down 2.2 percent in December. Investment lending for homes up 1.5 percent in November. Home loans up 2.1 percent in November.
- China: FDI investments up 7.9 percent in December.

- Eurozone: Consumer price inflation report will be released at 10:00 GMT.
- United Kingdom: MPC member Saunders is set to speak at 11:45 GMT.
- United States: MBA mortgage applications report will be released at 12:00 GMT, followed by industrial production report at 14:15 GMT. NAHB housing market report will be released at 15:00 GMT. Fed will release Beige book at 19:00 GMT. Fed’s Evans is scheduled to speak at 20:00 GMT, Kaplan at 20:15 GMT, and Mester at 21:30 GMT. Treasury flows report will be released at 21:00 GMT.
- Canada: BoC will announce monetary policy decision at 15:00 GMT, followed by the press conference at 16:15 GMT.
