Lots of economic data and events scheduled for today and some with high volatility risks associated.

Data released so far:

  • Australia: TD Securities inflation is up 2.3 percent in June from a year ago. Building permits declined 5.6 percent in May, down 19.7 percent from a year ago.
     
  • Japan: Nikkei manufacturing PMI improved to 52.4 in June.
     
  • China: Caixin manufacturing PMI improves to 50.4 in June.

Upcoming:

  • Japan: Consumer confidence report for June will be released at 5:00 GMT.
     
  • Spain: June report for unemployment change will be released at 7:00 GMT, followed by Markit manufacturing PMI at 7:15 GMT.
     
  • Switzerland: Real retail sales report will be published at 7:15 GMT, followed by SVME PMI at 7:30 GMT.
     
  • Italy: Markit Manufacturing PMI for June will be published at 7:45 GMT, followed by unemployment report at 8:00 GMT.
     
  • France: Markit Manufacturing PMI report will be published at 7:50 GMT.
     
  • Germany: Markit Manufacturing PMI report will be released at 7:55 GMT.
     
  • Greece: Markit Manufacturing PMI report will be released at 8:00 GMT.
     
  • Eurozone: Markit Manufacturing PMI report will be published at 8:00 GMT, followed by unemployment report at 9:00 GMT.
     
  • United Kingdom: Markit Manufacturing PMI report will be released at 8:30 GMT.
     
  • United States: Markit Manufacturing PMI for June will be released at 13:45 GMT, followed by the release of ISM-manufacturing PMI report at 14:00 GMT.
     
  • Auctions: U.S. will auction 1-montrh, 3-month, and 6-month bills at 15:30 GMT. France and Spain will auction 10-year bond today.
