- China: July trade balance came at $28.05 billion, with exports up 12.2 percent y/y, while imports up 27.03 percent.
- New Zealand: RBNZ inflation expectation at 2 percent in the second quarter.
- Japan: Eco Watchers’ survey outlook index declined to 49 in July, the current index declined to 46.6
Upcoming:
- Spain: Industrial output report will be released at 7:00 GMT.
- United States: MBA mortgage applications report will be released at 11:00 GMT. FOMC member Barkin is set for a speech at 12:45 GMT. EIA will release weekly inventory report at 14:30 GMT.
- New Zealand: RBNZ will announce interest rate decision at 21:00 GMT, followed by a press conference at 22:00 GMT.
- United Kingdom: RICS house price report will be released at 23:00 GMT.
- Japan: Machinery orders report will be published at 23:50 GMT.
- Auction: the UK will auction 10-year bond today. The U.S. will auction 10-year bond at 17:00 GMT.
