Data released so far:

• China: CPI inflation rose 0.3 percent in July, up 2.1 percent from a year ago. PPI inflation up 4.6 percent y/y.

Upcoming:

• Switzerland: Unemployment report will be published at 5:45 GMT.
   
• Japan: Machine tools orders report will be released at 6:00 GMT.
   
• Canada: July housing starts report will be published at 12:15 GMT, followed by New House price report at 12:30 GMT.
   
• United States: PPI inflation report will be released at 12:30 GMT, along with weekly jobless claims report. Fed’s Evans is set for a speech at 13:30 GMT. EIA will release weekly natural gas inventory report at 14:30 GMT.
   
• New Zealand: July business PMI report will be released at 22:30 GMT, followed by electronic card retail sales report at 22:45 GMT.
   
• Japan: Flash second-quarter GDP report will be published at 23:50 GMT.
   
• Auction: The U.S. will auction 30-year bond at 17:00 GMT.
