G-Dragon’s sister, Kwon Dami, married actor Kim Min Joon the past weekend, and as expected, the leader of BIGBANG was able to attend his older sister’s big day. He is currently serving in the army, so attending the wedding is considered as his very first public appearance since he enlisted in February 2018.
It was previously reported that Dami and Min Joon are being careful not to reveal the venue of their wedding because they want to prevent G-Dragon’s fans from coming to the place, which is understandable. And they were right about this decision because although fans were not present in the venue, the idol singer’s photos during the celebration were shared online and everyone went crazy, so what’s more if they knew where the wedding was held and caused a scene to see GD?
G-Dragon’s first public appearance totally excite the fans
The BIGBANG member was in Seoul on Oct. 11 to be with his family as they celebrate Dami’s wedding to Kim Min Joon. Allkpop reported that the moment G-Dragon’s photos and video clips were shared online, they immediately began trending in many countries and not just in South Korea.
The fans just demonstrated how much they missed the singer when they couldn’t contain their happiness upon seeing him again for the first time in almost two years. They expressed how much they are thrilled to see him again by posting endless comments, liking and retweeting his pictures.
The publication added that three days after G-Dragon’s photos were shared, the news about his attendance at the wedding has been read at least 660 million times. His photos also recorded millions of likes and retweets.
He also trended in China’s popular social media platform, Weibo. It was said that this is really rare because G-Dragon trended this much, and he is not even active in the last 20 months. The number of views on reports about GD is still going up as of this time.
Kwon Dami shares wedding photo with her little brother
Now that she is officially married, Dami shared the very first photo she has with brother G-Dragon and husband Min Joon. The BIGBANG leader looks really good in his suit, and his face appeared more handsomely matured. Meanwhile, GD is set to be discharged this coming Oct. 26, and a comeback is anticipated.
