G-Dragon is set to return to civilian life in two weeks, and fans can’t wait to see him again. He has been absent in the entertainment industry for a year and eight months, and now fans just need to count days before the BIGBANG leader is discharged from the army.
He was supposed to be discharged next month, but due to the recent changes in the rules that were implemented by the Korean Army, G-Dragon is going home on Oct. 26, a month earlier than expected. The military administration shortened the time that all enlisted men would serve their country as a soldier; thus, the singer is finishing his service soon.
Fans eagerly waiting for GD
Now that October is here, fans have started counting the days until G-Dragon is released from the barracks. At this time, the fans are surely already planning how they will welcome him back, just like what the fans did to T.O.P., who was discharged in July.
In any case, prior to his official release date in the army, G-Dragon is expected to take one day's leave to attend his older sister’s wedding. Kwon Dami is set to tie the knot with actor Kim Min Joon on Oct. 11, and certainly, GD will not miss this intimate family occasion.
Dami and Min Joon is keeping the venue of their wedding a secret because they fear that G-Dragon’s fans might swarm the place. They want to avoid unnecessary inconvenience to their guests and people around the neighborhood.
What GD’s return means
G-Dragon’s return means he will start making music again and make a comeback. Of course, he will wait for Daesung and Taeyang, who are set to be discharged in November, then they can arrange their long-awaited return as a group. But sadly, everyone already knows that Seungri will not be there to complete their five-member group as he was forced to retire earlier this year due to scandals.
Also, with G-Dragon coming back, he will be back in the spotlight for his fashion. In fact, while he is in the army, fans told him to hurry up and finish his army service because the fashion aspect of the industry is so dry without him. They want him to start a trend again and fill the fashion world with more colors.
