‘Game of Thrones’ season 7 may feature Daenerys sharing the Iron Throne with Jon Snow as the two are speculated to form an allegiance as well as a romantic relationship. Meanwhile, Emilia Clarke teased her return to production following a holiday break.
According to International Business Times, Emilia Clarke’s Daenerys Targaryen is set to have quite the interesting character arc in the incoming season as she returns to Westeros to claim her rightful place in the Iron Throne. It was speculated that she will demand allegiance and spare no mercy to those that refuse to follow her. It seems that House Tarly will be one of the recipients of her fiery wrath.
A plot leak posted on Reddit suggested that Tyrion (Peter Dinklage) and Varys (Conleth Hill) will find themselves worried over Dany’s impending transformation into the “Mad Queen” as she unleashes her rage on countless enemies.
Reddit user dimbismp claimed that Dany will eventually cross paths with Jon Snow (Kit Harington) to plot strategies to conquer Westeros as well as form a romantic bond. It seems that Dany is welcome to the prospect of sharing the Iron Throne with the new King of the North.
The user said that Jon would be summoned to pledge his fealty to the Dragon Queen but initially refuses. However, with Tyrion’s help, he offers his allegiance in exchange for aid in the fight against the notorious White Walkers.
Meanwhile, Clarke took to Instagram to announce that she has returned to film the seventh season of the popular fantasy-drama television series following a holiday break. According to the Belfast Telegraph, the 30-year old English actress posted a short clip of herself donning her signature blonde wig with the caption, “For gods sake Emilia put the holiday champagne DOWN and put that wig back on! #firstdaybackinthepretendrealworld #dontdrinkanddrivedragonscapieche?”
According to Culturess, a Twitter user named @dannyboyharvey revealed on January 6 that he and Clarke shared the same flight to Belfast. He posted, “Emilia Clarke was on my flight to Belfast there. The scenes GoT film in Northern Ireland are all north of King's Landing. You do the maths.”
It was reported that Belfast houses Titanic Studios, where the series films many of its internal scenes for locations such as King’s Landing and Meereen.
‘Game of Thrones’ season 7 is expected to premiere on HBO sometime in summer 2017.
