‘Game of Thrones’ season 7 will feature a Stark reunion in Winterfell but it will not be a happy one. Meanwhile, Littlefinger will reportedly plot to use this sour reunion to his advantage by manipulating the siblings.
According to The Independent, a family reunion between the remaining Stark children will take place in season 7 of the highly popular HBO fantasy television series based on George R. R. Martin’s bestselling novels ‘A Song of Ice and Fire.’ Rumors of the reunion were fueled by photographs of Maisie Williams and Isaac Hempstead-Wright sharing the same make-up trailer on the filming set. The co-stars play Arya Stark and Bran Stark, respectively.
The leak of a Stark family reunion in Winterfell came from a source on Watchers on the Wall, a dedicated fansite known for several detailed and often accurate spoilers. It was stated that although the siblings will finally reunite after years of being separated from each other, it will not be a happy homecoming.
Sansa (Sophie Turner) and Arya will be in conflict while Petyr Baelish a.k.a. Littlefinger (Aidan Gillen) will be waiting in the sidelines plotting to use this sour reunion to his advantage. According to Bustle, the two Stark girls will be butting heads due to their differing opinions on justice and how the North should be ruled. In their time apart, Sansa learned that manipulation and brutality is necessary for survival while Arya learned that killing is only justified within reason.
Meanwhile, another report debunked Sansa’s alleged pregnancy with Ramsay Bolton’s child (Iwan Rheon). According to Games Radar, fans speculated that Sansa was left with child by her abusive husband during the controversial wedding night rape scene in season 5. However, Watchers on the Wall insisted that Sansa is not with child in the incoming season.
‘Game of Thrones’ season 7 is scheduled to premiere sometime in mid-2017. It will be composed of seven episodes unlike previous seasons, which were composed of ten episodes each. Filming began on August 2016 and is expected to end in February 2017.
