George Clooney and Amal Alamuddin are said to be going through tough times again as husband and wife. The pair is said to be at odds as they are debating over the “Batman” actor’s wish to go to Italy and stay in their Lake Cuomo mansion.
An article titled “Fed Up Clooney Stuns Amal: I Want Out!” it was claimed by Globe magazine that Amal Alamuddin was so shocked about her husband’s outburst and plans. Also emblazoned at the cover of the magazine featured the title “Clooney leaving Amal!” which seems to suggest that the couple’s fight was not simple but a nasty one that one of them wants to go.
The alleged cause of George and Amal’s marital feud
Based on the article, George Clooney revealed his plan to his wife, Amal Alamuddin, and this shocked the latter. He told her that he would like to go back to their mansion in Italy as he is bored in Los Angeles.
“George is bored with being cooped up in L.A. and missed the culture and serenity in Lake Cuomo, which is George’s favorite place in the world,” the so-called source told Globe.
George Clooney and Amal are said to be currently staying in the actor’s former bachelor pad in Studio City, and with the COVID-19 crisis, he misses their life in Italy. This plan to move is allegedly triggering a series of clashes between the husband and wife, and it is getting worst to the point that it could lead to divorce and put the actor’s $500 million fortune in the line.
“Amal’s not a huge fan of L.A. either but she’s a realist and she believes it’s safest for the family to be quarantining right now,” the tipster further said. If the barrister will not agree to his plan, the source stated that “It’s highly likely George will pack a bag and retreat to back to Europe on his own at some point.”
Debunking the rumor
Since this is just a rumor, Gossip Cop sets out to investigate and reveal the truth. After checking, the publication determined that this is a false narrative. For one, even if George Clooney really wants to move to their Italian Lake Cuomo home, he would not leave his family behind just because of his simple reason - that he wants the “Italian sun.”
Also, the couple has been reported to be fighting for a number of times, and all of these had been debunked already. Many of these false news also appeared in Globe, so Gossip Cop is sure that this one is also a phony report.
