The Hollywood actor criticized the way his royal friend is being treated and warned that history could repeat itself as he compared her to the late Princess of Wales.

According to Metro UK, George Clooney warned everyone by saying, "We've seen how that ends." Apparently, he was referring to how Princess Diana’s life turned out in the end.

George Clooney speaks out for Meghan Markle because she seems to be having a difficult time especially when her half-sister and own father are criticizing her without end. In any case, while he has good intentions for speaking out for his friend, some papers reported that the actor may have done it not just because of friendship but it was alleged that the two had a fling in the past.
