- Russia-U.S. - Syria: President Trump has taken hard-line rhetoric over the latest chemical attack in Syria. President Trump called the Syrian President Bashar al Assad an animal in his tweet and blamed him as well as Russian President Vladimir Putin for the attack and Russia’s support for the Assad regime in Syria. However, several journalists are posing doubts over government involvement in the chemical attack, as rebels have attacked using chemical weapons in the past and blamed the government. Trump warned that there will be big prices to pay.
- Russia-UK-Skripal: The Russian UN envoy tore into the accusation of the United Kingdom after the defense laboratory CEO at Porton Down Gary Aitkenhead said that while his scientists could confirm the poison as Novichok, they couldn’t confirm that it came from Russia.
- Korean Peninsula: Unconfirmed reports suggest that North Korea is ready to offer denuclearization of the Korean peninsula when North Korea’s supreme leader Kim Jong-Un is set to meet the U.S. President Donald Trump.
- Palestine - Israel: Violence continues in Gaza strip as Palestinians march against what they call is Israel’s occupation of their land. Scores of people have been killed and wounded in the latest spark of violence.
- Hungary Election: Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban secured a third term for himself as his party won 133 seats in the 199 members’ parliament. So far, 93 percent of the votes have been counted.
