TORONTO, March 01, 2018 -- GobiMin Inc. (TSX-V:GMN) (the “Company” or “GobiMin”) announces that Mr. Qiao Fugui has resigned as Director of the Company effective on March 1, 2018. The Company would like to thank Mr. Qiao for his services and contributions during his tenure.
Concurrent with Mr. Qiao’s resignation, the Company is pleased to announce that Mr. Ma Jianqing has been appointed as Director of the Company effective on March 1, 2018. Mr. Ma has extensive experience in project development and operation management in the mining industry. He is presently the Vice General Manager of International Department of Resources Capital of Jinchuan Group Co. Limited (“Jinchuan Group”), the substantial shareholder of GobiMin. Since Mr. Ma joined Jinchuan Group, he has held various senior positions. Mr. Ma obtained a bachelor degree in Engineering from the Guilin Institute of Metallurgical Geology in 1991 and was qualified as a Senior Geologist in 2001.
