‘Gotham’ season 3’s episode 10, entitled “Time Bomb”, will follow Jim as he helps mob boss Carmine Falcone. Meanwhile, Bruce is set to learn more about the secret crime organization Court of Owls.
The synopsis for “Time Bomb” posted on Coming Soon stated, “On the eve of their rehearsal dinner, a threat to Mario (guest star James Carpinello) and Lee (Morena Baccarin) is exposed, and Falcone (guest star John Doman) looks to Jim (Ben McKenzie) for help. Meanwhile, Nygma (Cory Michael Smith) seeks revenge and Bruce (David Mazouz) learns more about The Court of Owls.” The guest cast includes James Carpinello as Mario Calvi, John Doman as Carmine Falcone, Leslie Hendrix as Kathryn, and Costa Ronin as Luka Volk.
The incoming episode will follow Jim as he is forced to help mob boss Carmine Falcone after learning that Mario and Lee’s lives are in imminent danger. Their rehearsal dinner is coming up and it seems that things will not be running smoothly for the two.
Meanwhile, Bruce is set to learn more about the organized crime group and secret society named the Court of Owls. It is composed of Gotham City’s oldest and wealthiest families that use murder and money as means of wielding political influence throughout history. The Court of Owls secretly existed in Gotham City since the Colonial times, controlling the city for centuries.
The Court of Owls was first mentioned in the original DC comic book “Batman #2” (2011) and make their first full appearance in “Batman #5.” The human leaders wear owl masks and appear to be human. However, the rest of their court are mutated and seem to be human-owl hybrids. The organization kidnaps child performers from the circus to train and transform into lethal assassins known as the Talons.
In the promo, Bruce learns more about the Court of Owls. According to Citizen Oracle, Bruce insists on learning more about the secret society after an investigation on his parents’ murder is brought up again.
When warned to “let it go”, he defiantly insisted that they murdered his parents. It would be interesting to see what the future Batman would do with his newfound knowledge.
‘Gotham’ season 3’s episode 10, entitled “Time Bomb”, is scheduled to air on November 21, 2016 on Fox. It will be followed by episode 11, entitled “"Beware the Green-Eyed Monster” scheduled to be released on November 28.
