A lot of things have happened since the recent episode of the hit TV series ‘Grey’s Anatomy aired this week. Intriguing stories and controversies were dished out and I am pretty sure this delighted the fans very much. So now let us discuss and have a recap on this week’s episode titled “My Next Life”.
A secret has been kept in this week’s episode as April (Sarah Drew) found out that she is pregnant with Jackson (Jesse William) as the father. She has been selfish about it and decided to keep the news all to herself which was highly frowned upon by Arizona (Arizona Capshaw) . Arizona forced her to tell Jackson about it which April responded saying “Why? So he’ll come back to me?”
She clearly wants to enjoy being single once again and knows that with or without the baby, their relationship was already leading to a divorce anyway.
Alex, on the other hand, knew about it and he confronted April and said he knows she’s pregnant. He said he could just tell because he works in paediatrics. When she said she hasn’t told Jackson yet, Alex suggested she tell him before he figures it out, too.
Speaking of Alex (Justin Chambers), he had an awkward situation with Jo (Camilla Ludington) in an elevator when he brought out the subject of the engagement ring that she stumbled upon. Yet, when he asked if she has an answer for him yet, she said no. Then, she scurried out of the elevator to escape the awkwardness.
Later on, Jo mustered the courage to tell Alex to keep the ring as of the moment, explaining to him that she is not ready yet.
Meanwhile, Katie had a head scan which resulted to Amelia and Edwards discovering a big aneurysm in her. Fortunately, Katie was able to survive the surgery. Meredith, on the other hand, was very distracted after seeing Katie that she nearly bleeds out a patient that she was operating with.
